More than 1,300 comments reached the FAA before the October 2 deadline, and the FAA has said it will consider every one before it finalizes the rule. The temporary restriction is in effect until October 20.

Noise complaints to the airport skyrocket after the Mar-a-Lago flight restrictions
The airport reported 58 noise complaints in the first ten months of 2025, and 622 from October 20, when the restriction took effect, through early January 2026, as flights were diverted onto alternative paths over Palm Beach and West Palm Beach neighborhoods.
